"I bow and bless the nine directions. I take the breath from the pipe for holy smoke to rise. Holiness David Running Eagle Shooting Star is beating the drum tonight" says, White Buffalo Calf Woman.
Here we flow down the road, into heaven it's snowing on the boards. Up and down on the sad roaming hills, I have much to share, just have to fill. Where I go to the show of heaven's reign, it's a whisper of love that I gain. Come and whisper heaven's on her path, the place of magic the garden will last. Thank you for all we say and dew, the place of miracles that come true. I think heaven is on the sailing breeze, because it's about you and me. Come on home, come home with our souls, here is the worship we all know. Give a hand, reprimand, all who need, then our hearts will learn to bleed.
Drink from this cup of God, where we sing a song and chill around the fire and dance and sing a song. Oh I am sow merry got to get along. Here a place in the magic of heaven's sane, it's coming down pouring buckets of rain. And I see the motion of time in me. Come sail in the breeze, heaven open up for me.
There is a time in worth to everything, if we look about that causing factors that show lift, can you sail along with me? I want you to see, that heaven in on her wings. Come fly with me in the sailing skies today. I want to hear all you have to say and wave. We are together in the circle of the fire. Come on children look at what is wise. It's the red eyes that glow. It's the heaven that grows. It's willing to partake, heaven come on home it's not too late. Count your feet, walk your step, dance around the fire and wept. Let the crane show you, the sacred and true, we are one in the sacred view. Let's dance within. We will eliminate sin.....

A Story from Chelsea Bear, our Red Child
Well back 2 years ago in summer time I go to campground my cousin Tori goes too it is nice camp group in PA. And I was sitting down on chair staring at the sky no one was around this area. By the back of there, a trailer which has trees in some spots. When I was looking up I saw this huge bird with long red legs and it was weird it was in slow motion it seem like move in the same spot twice slowly like it wanted me to see it. I am wondering if it was reality type of thing or not. I never saw this bird in that spot again. Yet I don't know if it was actually bird being. It was long time I see. It always dumbfounded me.
White Buffalo Calf Woman Shares: Well, I can go look through your eyes (heavenly vision), or I can interpret the skies (earthly interpretation of heavenly on earth)? Which shall it be? (Heavenly vision) It's looking from the inside (gray space) rather than the outside (colored or rainbow stream). The heavenly vision looks within to outside or looks out from within. I will look through your eyes, to see what you saw to realize. Out from within, the vision to begin...
Chelsea Bear: Hmmmmies can me do both I wonder what my eyes miss or mind miss of the creature that sky knows more. Oh I see. Okies. Mhmm
White Buffalo Calf Woman (elder crystal child) Shares Vision Through the Eyes of Chelsea Bear (red child):
he* (male principle earthly light, color or fire)
she (female principle heavenly dark, sound or water)
Lands on a tree (the tree of life represents our heart flows up/down, around and back to us, all around or donut shape, electrifying from our hearts), I see a bird with wings spread to stop to lean on rest. Then the call is quiet, but seeking a friend, have lost the waves of the winds (off course). As he* stops and seeks, he meets a cheek (smile, upside down mile), the humble cry in the wind. He* seeks it out, maybe I can learn to the stout, to have the strength to survive (find the course where others fly). There the bird leans on, where blue (heavenly road) meets red (earthly road), when the fire comes alive (smoke rises, plumes of clouds move in the sky). Can the bird show pieces of the glimpses of the age, to make us look at the waves (sound and color)? When the seeking of the cat (stream path knowing) on the moon (reflection of our lives), the waking of the noon (rainbow clan), from within to outside (rebirthing of the soul), the beginning of pride (a light from within), how about we bow to the moon (she holds us close to ride the waves)? I look but the trees lonely in bloom (each child), take hold to the soul (awaken, wakan or holy), and the bird looks to know, which stripe do I adhere? (which color of the rainbow dew I cling) And as he* seeks, for his beak (to speak, talking, G_ah_d utterance of heavenly transmission or God), he finds that his feet will be on the red road (walking wakan or holy), where the river is wide (field of dreams through the hoops). There he whispers, rests to shine, to leap in the air and seek the wide. There he knows he can find humble (the bow of the rainbow, roll over the lesson and find buried treasure below), but stable on the path, where he* can fly in the skies. Aho, both realize (free again, our heart flies). end of story
Commentary by White Buffalo Calf Woman: It's a story about needing strength. To lean on someone who needs to embrace and be embraced. He finds strength in his rest near your sacred nest (Chelsea Bear). Then flies away, rested and willing to endure to survive. I was thinking, when I saw the bird look at his feet, you said, it was as if two, like vibrancy or a wave. I saw four feet, you said they were red. Four feet on the red road, that's pure light, a grand fire for sure! When you look at the way the Stork or Crane rests, their knees bend backwards forming a perfect right angle for lift off, but also not part (not apart or not separated) of the space (grandmother dream space) is left off (all included in the nine directions), but caudaled (on your back, folded together like a baby embraced, up and down) as in a cradle (to and fro), four directions we glow and flow.
--Chelsea Bear: Awesome. I wonder what type of bird it is though. It left me, thought I couldn't find a pick of him.
-White Buffalo Calf Woman: Stork or Crane? aho. crane family, all together relatives.
---Grandmother: ohhh... sweet Chels Bear.. you helped him on
his travels. oh... I have a picture...I took it during a trip to Palm
Desert, CA. Aho my granddaughters... check your email.. just sent the
image on to you. It was taken at a rescue zoo in Palm Desert
--Chelsea Bear: it a crane or stork i knew it i knew it that what i thought. mhmm. okies. I guess Grandfather Standing By Me is right I need to do (dew or cling to) that poem, at some point. I mean it in my head. I just got to write it (out). Both of you take your time I have all night lol. Thanks Grandmother Comfort in the Wind. I want to save what you type about the bird sister white buffalo calf woman. Cranes are graceful creatures it is kung fu style too. One of my favorite characters is master of that style and her name is Hok. Her real name was, I forget, but she was my favorite character being she was the only female.
-White Buffalo Calf Woman: Wow! Grandmother: It was so amazing that the legs folded forwards...as you can see.
---Grandmother Comfort in the Wind: There is one standing in the back ground (below) but you cannot see the whole bird. I do not remember what the name of the bird is though.
--Chelsea Bear: Awesome. It has big feet like i do lol
---Grandmother: you are so cute, I am sure they are just lovely
--Chelsea Bear: thanks. Aho, okie doike
-White Buffalo Calf Woman: Okay, we like to look things up, to clarify, as they are teachers (animals, plants and rocks). Oh, I know, how about spiritual crane, like totems (below information gathered by Chelsea Bear, Grandmother and Wbcw)? Thanks for helping (searching in dictionaries handy) Holiness David Running Eagle Shooting Star our Dakota Brother.
--Chelsea Bear: You are welcome brother (to join us)?
-White Buffalo Calf Woman: He says, Okie dokie! Wow (searching and learning), but is a stork a crane?
--Chelsea Bear: mmhmm, crane then, we don't have storks here, or in P.A.

The Crane, Stork, and Heron are three similar birds that have similar spiritual meaning.
The Crane is considered a messenger of God, or a symbol of communion with God, or Light Beings. It represents entering higher states of consciousness. In China, it represents immortality, long life and happiness. In Ancient Greece and Rome, the Crane was sacred to Apollo and was a herald of spring. In Christianity, it represents goodness, loyalty, good order. The mysterious Ainu people of Japan perform a ritual crane dance as do the people of Korea. The crane is often seen in traditional Japanese art.
The Stork is also a solar bird, and is a destroyer of reptiles. It is associated with creation and birth and the coming of spring. In China, it also represents longevity and happiness. In Christianity, it represents chastity, purity, and piety. Seeing a stork in a place where they are rare, or dreaming of one is considered a good omen.
The Heron is another solar bird. In China and Japan, the white Heron represents Light while the crow represents darkness and together represent yin-yang. It represents regeneration and rebirth. In parts of Africa, the Heron represents communication with God.
All three of these birds represent, in one way or another, solar energy or light. They are all water birds so also represent going with the flow of life. Because all of these birds eat, among other things, snakes, frogs, and other reptiles that often represent evil or Satan, they also represent the constant struggle between good and evil. What is the difference between Stork and Crane?
Except from their taxonomic divergence, other differences between cranes and storks are as follows.
• Diversity of both cranes and storks do not differ much, but there are 19 species of storks, while cranes include 15 species.
• Storks are carnivores, but cranes are more adaptive with omnivorous feeding habits.
• Storks build up large platform nests on the trees and rock ledges, but cranes build their nests on shallow waters.
• Female stork lays three to six eggs in one breeding season, while female crane (less migratory) lays only two eggs in one season.
• Storks prefer more dry areas, whereas cranes like to inhabit wet lands.
• Storks are mute (wow, silence is golden), but cranes are highly vocal.
• Most of the storks are migratory and travel long distances, while cranes could be either migratory or non-migratory. Read more: http://www.differencebetween.com/difference-between-stork-and-vs-crane/#ixzz1wPSvUDml
Facts About Cranes
Cranes are large long-necked birds that live and breed near water. Cranes that live near large bodies of water tend to be whiter in color, while cranes that live in forested areas near small lakes tends to have gray plumage. Fifteen species of cranes exist in the world, and all are at least threatened if not endangered.
Cranes are found on every continent except Antarctica and South America. No one knows why cranes do no live in South America. They have not even been found in the fossil record there. The largest species of Crane is the Sarus Crane. The Sarus crane stands at six feet tall on average with an eight-foot wing span, and is also the world’s tallest bird.
Unlike herons, for which they are often mistaken, cranes fly with their necks stretched straight. Their long beaks can be used like spears to fish or scare predators. Their call is a sort of purr, or garbled sound, not at all like a duck or goose.
Cranes can live 20 to 30 years in the wild, but in captivity they can
live much longer. The oldest crane in captivity lived to be 82 years
old. The two greatest threats to cranes are the destruction of their
natural wetland habitats, and the capture of cranes for the illegal pet
trade.
Some cranes are migratory, some stay where they are year round. All cranes engage in dancing behavior, and mating cranes are famous for their dancing displays. Dancing can be for mating, to repel a threat, or just for fun. Stick tossing is often a part of a crane dance routine.

-White Buffalo Calf Woman: Oh how sweet. The cranes can dance, on their tip toes and bowing with grace. Aho, what a place! Dancing in the winds.
--Chelsea: Aho thanks. I dance on my tip toes a lot, lol (lots of love). Sometimes I walk on my tippy toes and dance that way.
---Grandmother: Fun, always a ballerina then.
--Chelsea: mhmmms. lol. Clumsy ballerina. lol (lots of love).
Crane Wisdom
Cranes
have long been associated with royalty, balance, grace, longevity and wisdom and cleverness.
The crane is a prehistoric animal and looks like one, yet is also very
beautiful and graceful. Cranes will often be seen
standing in shallow water on one leg, and their beautiful dancing also
speaks to their incredible sense of balance and grace
When
a crane comes into your life as a spirit teacher or totem you are being
asked to use your past as a source of strength in the present. Cranes
appear in the lives of people who are well served by some degree of
secrecy in their lives. The crane teaches; keeping your own counsel,
protection of family, and balance in life above all else. A crane totem is also a harbinger of long life and success. People
with crane medicine are more revered by others than they imagine, and
have long, successful lives. They are protective, wise, and gracious.
They choose their battles carefully, choosing quiet wisdom and privacy
over aggression. An encounter with a crane is a
powerful experience. You are being asked to look inward, show fairness
to all persons, and protect your wisdom while sharing it in appropriate
ways. In short, you are being shown the way to balance and good fortune.
The
crane is a powerful and auspicious totem in almost all cultures. One
exception is Celtic Britain, where cranes were associated with death,
treachery, war, and evil women (all traits of heavenly, but not yet purified through the cleansing of fire or holy water). The crane was one of the various shapes
taken by the King of the Celtic Underworld, Annwn. In
China and Japan, cranes were associated with longevity, immortality, and
prosperity. In Japan, because of their permanent pair bonds, cranes
were often featured on bridal kimonos. Sweet cakes to be served at
Japanese weddings are often baked in the shape of cranes, for good luck. As
a character in Aesop’s fables, the crane is often portrayed as a
problem solver and a wise teacher. In one story, a crane retrieves a
fish from a long narrow bottle by dropping stones in it, one by one,
until the fish is reached easily. A popular Native
American story features a pet crane that saves its owners from
destruction at enemy hands, giving its own life in the process.
Crane Dreamtime
An encounter with Crane in Dreamtime is a powerful sign of love,
happiness, and good will among family and friends. Crane medicine also
brings long life, good health and a deeper awakening on a spiritual
level. Crane spirit helps us to speak our truth as we live with courage
and integrity. The lesson is to wait in complete balance, as we remain
ever focused on our path of destiny. The key is to soar as ONE with the
wind regardless of the journey's way.
Solitude, justice, longevity, independent, intelligent, and vigilant that what a crane is in totem. Longevity
and Focus. And to the ancient Chinese, the Crane was a symbol of
justice and longevity. A Crane totem entering your life could signal
recovery of what was lost to you. Crane people have a sense of secrecy and protectiveness. Crane reflects the importance of not dividing your attention between more than one project rather focusing on just the more important one.
Mothers with Crane totems do better as stay-at-home moms rather than trying to juggle raising a family and work. If this is impossible, ask Crane to help you accomplish both. Crane can teach you how to celebrate your creative resources and keep them alive, by having the proper focus in your life.
